Minicute Supports Medical Workers Against COVID-19

As anti-pandemic heroes marched bravely to the front line, Minicute China stood with them. On June 23, Minicute Technology donated pneumatic Minicute ergonomic decompression lumbar supports worth nearly RMB 210,000 to medical workers at The Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in Guangdong. During the most critical days of the pandemic, the first group of medical workers from The Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in Guangdong volunteered to go to Wuhan and remained at Hankou Hospital, where critically ill patients were concentrated, for 55 days and nights. Due to tight medical resources, protective supplies such as masks were once in short supply in the affected area. Under limited medical conditions, the medical workers endured great pressure and stayed at their posts without hesitation, doing everything possible to improve the treatment environment for patients. With the timely arrival of support supplies, they devoted themselves fully to rescue and treatment work. Through their unremitting efforts, the situation in the affected hospital improved significantly.

Many patients eventually recovered and were discharged thanks to the treatment provided by the hospital's medical team. While completing their rescue work, the team also achieved a goal of zero infections among themselves, making an outstanding contribution to pandemic prevention and control in Wuhan.

Treatment work was extremely demanding and often required medical workers to work continuously for long periods. Prolonged sitting and standing caused numb legs, back pain, and lower-back soreness for many front-line medical workers.
